In May, Vietnam’s Rubber Exports Increased By 55% Year On Year, Mainly To China

The import and Export Bureau of Vietnam's Ministry of industry and Commerce predicts that in May 2021, Vietnam's rubber export volume will reach about 80000 tons, with an export value of 139 million US dollars. Compared with April, the export volume increased by more than 26%, and the export volume increased by 7.2%; Compared with may 2020, the export volume increased by 7.2%, and the export volume increased by nearly 55%.

The average rubber export price was US $1738 / T, down 2.2% month on month and up 44.6% year on year.

In the first five months of 2021, Vietnam's rubber export volume is estimated to reach 548000 tons, and the export volume will reach 923 million US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 58.7% and 94% respectively.

Among them, the export to China accounted for 99.53% of the total export volume of China's mixed rubber, and the export volume reached 28374 tons, up 88.8% year on year; Exports reached US $456.58 million, up 118.3% year on year.

In the first four months of 2021, compared with the same period in 2020, the export of most rubber products grew well. It is worth noting that the export volume and export volume of latex, RSS1, synthetic rubber, SVR 10, RSS3, SVR 3L and other rubber varieties increased strongly compared with the same period in 2020.

In terms of export prices, in the first four months of 2021, except the average export prices of synthetic rubber and recycled rubber decreased, the average export prices of all kinds of rubber increased compared with the same period of 2020.

Among them, the average export price of some rubber varieties increased significantly compared with the same period in 2020. For example, RSS1 rose by 34.9%, latex rose by 32.6%, RSS3 rose by 29.8%, SVR cv60 rose by 27.9%, SVR 3L rose by 26.4%, etc.
