China’s Tire Export Volume Increased By 42.4%

On June 21, the General Administration of Customs released the tire export data for May 2021.

Tire World Network learned that in that month, the export volume of Chinese tires, year-on-year maintained a high growth, month-on-month slight decline;

In the first five months of this year, China's tire exports maintained a high year-on-year growth rate.

May tire exports fell slightly month-on-month

Data showed that in May 2021, China's exports of rubber tires were 540,000 tons, down 40,000 tons month-on-month and up 42.4 percent year on year.

In the same month, the export volume of rubber tires was 8.456 billion yuan, down 374 million yuan from the previous month and up 42.9 percent year on year.

Among them, the export volume of new inflatable rubber tires was 520,000 tons, decreasing by 30,000 tons month-on-month and increasing by 43.5% year-on-year.

The export volume was 8.028 billion yuan, up 44.7 percent year on year.

Export volume growth, less than the amount of export growth, indicating the export price of tires, compared with the same period last year has risen.

In this month, the number of new inflatable rubber tires exported reached 46.66 million, a decrease of 480,000 from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 57.4%.

According to the World Tire Network observation, in May, China's tire exports fell again, but still at a relatively high level.

The big year-on-year increase is mainly due to a low base during last year's outbreak.

In the first five months, cumulative exports maintained a high growth rate

According to the Tire World Network, this year, China's tire exports presented a good situation, enterprises export orders are sufficient.

Statistics show that from January to May 2021, China's accumulative export volume of rubber tires was 2.9 million tons, up 37.6% year on year;

The accumulative export value was 43.763 billion yuan, up 30.7% year on year.

In addition, the export of new inflatable rubber tires totaled 2.78 million tons, up 37.6 percent year on year;

The accumulative export volume was 41.68 billion yuan, up 30.6% year on year.

From the number of tire exports, in the first five months, the total export of new inflatable rubber tires was 235.77 million, a year-on-year increase of 47.5%.

Analysis believes that in the short term, the shipping problem is still an important factor restricting China's tire exports, should remain cautious and optimistic in the second half.
